CHAUVET Professional ISE Booth Reveals “True Colours ” To Take Lighting Projects To The Next Level
Posted on January 18, 2025
BARCELONA – Back in the 1700s when pirates plied the seas, merchant ships reassured one another of their good intentions by flying their company’s flag, a practice that became known as “showing your true colours.” The phrase has lived on over the centuries. And this year, it has taken on special meaning for CHAUVET Professional, which has built its booth (6M100) for ISE (Feb. 4-7) around the theme of “Finally True Colours Revealed.”
For CHAUVET Professional, the true colours phrase not only refers to the company’s genuine commitment to customers, but also to its recent breakthroughs in LED technology and optics that allow its fixtures to render a rainbow of colours that are truer and more realistic than ever before.
The results of these colour rendering advances will be beautifully evident throughout the company’s booth, including in the Maverick Storm 1 Flex and STRIKE V, two products built on the highly regarded reputations of their namesake series in terms of output and performance.
For the Maverick Storm 1 Flex, the story begins with it being a high-output, lamp-free multi-functional fixture. This fixture allows installers, integrators, and other lighting professionals to enjoy the flexibility of a multi-functional unit alongside the reliability of advanced LED technology. Sharp beams and dynamic effects, CMY+CTO color mixing, a tight 2.4° to 53° zoom, layerable prisms, rotating gobos — all of them and more are packed into this durable IP65-rated fixture without the issues of a discharge lamp.
Like the Maverick Storm 1 Flex, the new STRIKE V also will make a splash through its sheer power, performance — and colour rendering prowess! Going beyond its famous Color STRIKE M cousin, this breakthrough hybrid strobe-wash offers two layers of 48 RGB LEDs that can be pixel mapped individually. The STRIKE V’s groundbreaking individual pixel control opens the way to unlimited creative possibilities. To expand creative options even further, the motorized fixture has a variable electronic frost plate that can change beam angles instantly at the press of a button.
Visitors looking for new ways to add range of dynamic colours to any venue, event floor, or stage will want to check out the new COLORado Solo Bar family of fixtures at ISE. Available in three models, depending on their number of RGBwW cells, these battens can be arranged vertically or horizontally to open an array of design option.
CHAUVET Professional will also be showcasing its expanded family of battery-operated workhorse WELL family of fixtures: WELL Pod 2, WELL Pod 3, WELL Batten 14, and WELL Fit X, a RGBwW LED powerhouse capable of enlivening any venue or event with its bold, colorful washes.
Along with this winning series of fixtures, booth 6M 100 will also be showcasing ChamSys lighting control solutions for any installation or event application, from large scale projects (The MagicQ MQ500M+ Stadium Console), to smaller settings. Two options ideally suited for mid-sized and smaller projects are the MagicQ Compact Wing, which offers 10 fader and 10 executor playbacks, and the GeNetix TouchScene (along with its smaller cousin GeNetix TouchScene MINI), wall-mounted touch panel displays that enable remote scene activations at the press of a button.
Designed to work seamlessly with the MagicQ Compact console, the new MagicQ Compact Wing makes it simple for anyone to expand their number of available physical playbacks.
The elegant control tool is also compatible with all current MagicQ Console and PC Systems. Its stable mate at ISE, the GeNetix TouchScene also integrates elegantly with the MagicQ or QuickQ systems, as well as GeNetix nodes for remote Scene activation. Connecting to a MagicQ control system allows complete interface customisation, including custom icons and images as well as fully customising the items on the display.
Visitors who follow the CHAUVET Professional and ChamSys “true colours flag” at this year’s ISE will find these and other tools that will help them take their lighting projects to a new level in 2025.
