Daniel ConnellSince 1997, Daniel Connell has designed lighting for concert, television, and theatrical projects with a heavy emphasis on House of Worship. His client list includes Church on the Move in Oklahoma, Passion City Church, and Willow Creek Church, among others. Daniel also provides consultation and programming for churches with his own business, Daniel Connell Productions, LLC.

Lighting for Video: Seth Thiesen, Production and Lighting Director for North Point Ministries

Lighting designers seeking to create impactful designs that also translate well on camera for church services, often find themselves struggling to balance the demands of lighting for the room and lighting for video. Seth shares tips and tricks for the camera and lighting fixtures that ensure what you see with your eyes is captured as a quality image on camera.

Seth Thiesen Seth Thiesen has been the production and lighting director at North Point Ministries, a multi-campus church outside Atlanta with around 30,000 members, for the past decade. Previously, he has served as the Technical Arts specialist at Heartland Community Church in Illinois. He oversees a crew of volunteers and three performance venues and has created new sets and lighting designs for various ministries in addition to directing video for services.

Aaron ColeAaron Cole runs the very popular Instagram account, Brightness Blog (@brightnessblog) and serves as the Lighting Designer at Faith Family Church in Ohio and its Love Is Red (LRI) Conference, the largest Christian youth rally in the Midwest. LRI is a weekend long experience for youth and young adults that features live music, guest artists, and dynamic speakers from all across the country. It has quickly become one of the biggest conferences of its type in the nation. Aaron also owns Goliath Lighting & Stage.
