    Rogue R3 Beam FAQ’s

Quickly find answers to common questions about setup, operation, and features of the Rogue R3 Beam
What kind of effects can the Rogue R3 Beam create?

The Rogue R3 Beam creates intense, razor-sharp beams of light for dramatic aerial effects. It features a wheel with 14 colors and a separate wheel with 17 patterns (gobos) to shape the light. For more complex visuals, it has two different prisms that can be used separately or layered together to split the beam into unique, multi-rayed looks.

What is the primary use for the Rogue R3 Beam?

This fixture is a dedicated ‘beam’ light, designed to be a workhorse for creating powerful and defined aerial effects. Its main purpose is to project bright, tight beams over long distances, making it perfect for concerts, large stages, and events where cutting through other lighting is essential.

Can I soften the light from the Rogue R3 Beam?

Yes. While it excels at producing a very tight, focused beam, the fixture also includes a motorized frost feature. This allows you to soften the edge of the light for a more even and diffused wash effect, adding to its versatility.
